Summing Up

To recall, these are the following 8 topics I had covered previously:

1. Building a Professional Presence.
2. Customers’ Perception.
3. International Business Etiquette.
4. Corporate Politics in Perspective.
5. Building a Service Culture.
6. The Art of Corporate Entertainment.
7. Delighting Your Customers.
8. Life’s Winning Formula.

Dressing yourself well for work would represent you and your company. Hence if you portray yourself well, customers would have a good impression of you, as you look professional. This is the first step to create good customer perception. Dressing yourself well would also affect you when you go overseas for a business trip as the disastrous consequences were shown in the video on Chapter 1. The business deal flunked. Other than dressing professionally, it is important to eat professionally too. Hence, learning the art of corporate entertainment would further impress your respective clients. You are then a step ahead to win over your clients’ hearts.

When a company builds a good service culture, it will be on its way to delight their customers as they have a set of good vision, mission and leaders. Service culture would also determine the kind of politics one’s employees practice.

However, before you dress yourself up on the exterior, you have to build a good mentality in the interior first. When you have built a strong and optimistic mindset, it is then time to strive towards success.

I have come to the end of the portfolio. I sincerely hope everyone enjoys reading it.

Although this semester is coming to an end, our learning journey still continues (:
